Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced migration specialist to lead a critical project.

You'll play a hands-on role in driving the migration of workloads from VMware to Oracle KVM across a large enterprise environment.

Project Details
  • Over 30 sites nationally
  • Migration of ~300–360 VMs from VMware (vSphere / vCenter / ESXi) to Oracle KVM (Oracle Linux Virtualisation Manager)
  • Each site built on 2-host clusters with shared storage
  • Standardised design across all sites for repeatability and scale
Requirements
  • Proven background in VMware migrations (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, clustering, HA/DRS)
  • Strong knowledge of KVM-based virtualization (Oracle KVM / OLVM, libvirt, qemu-kvm)
  • Hands-on use of virt-v2v or similar tools for VM conversion/migration
  • Experience with shared storage (SAN/NAS, iSCSI, multipath) in clustered environments
  • Ability to plan, document, and execute migration runbooks at scale
  • Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
