We are seeking a Technical Implementation Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing software implementation services in WebEOC and associated solutions.

">About the Role

The Technical Implementation Specialist is responsible for configuring web-based products within the WebEOC framework to meet client requirements for emergency/incident response. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, utilizing and improving emergency/incident management processes. They will also create written requirements documents detailing system configuration required to meet client needs for Emergency/Incident Response processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure Web-Based Products: Configure web-based products within the WebEOC framework to meet client requirements for emergency/incident response.
  • Design & Improve Processes: Responsible for designing, utilizing and improving emergency/incident management processes.
  • Create Requirements Documents: Create written requirements documents detailing system configuration required to meet client needs for Emergency/Incident Response processes.
  • Provide Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance to stakeholders in the support and delivery of emergency/incident management specific programs.
  • Track Progress: Contribute information to systems for tracking progress and documenting status of activities.
  • Develop Online Training Content: Develop and implement various techniques and procedures for process reviews, including development of online training content and exercise assessments.
  • Tier 2 Support: Tier 2 support for the region's clients.
  • Staff Development Opportunities: Identify and implement staff development opportunities related to emergency preparedness and emergency response.
  • Support EOC Activations: Support Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) activations when required.
Requirements
  • At Least 3 Years Experience: At least 3 years experience in web development.
  • Experience with Bootstrap: Experience with Bootstrap versions 3 and 4.
  • Experience with jQuery: Experience with jQuery.
  • Experience with RESTful Services: Experience with RESTful services and APIs.
  • Experience with SQL Server: Experience with SQL Server.
  • Technical Business Analysis Skills: Technical Business Analysis skills.
  • Material Design Experience: Material Design experience is preferred, but not essential.
  • Emergency Management Environment: Experience in an emergency management environment (preferred but not essential).
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Multitasking Ability: Superior ability to multi-task and meet changing deadlines.
  • Willingness to Travel: Ability and willingness to travel if required.
  • New Zealand or Australian Citizenship: New Zealand or Australian citizen or permanent work rights in New Zealand.
