Job Title: Data Driven Game Analyst

We are seeking a skilled data analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for utilizing data analytics to improve game performance and enhance the player experience.

The successful candidate will work closely with the game development team to understand requirements and scope deliverables, guide the team in being hypothesis-focused and data-driven, deliver end-to-end analytics projects and present insights, develop a suite of dashboards to promote self-service data access, contribute to the aggregate layer of data to support efficient analysis, and design game telemetry that meets analysis requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract relevant data from large data sources.
  • Design and implement statistical models using Python or R to inform business decisions.
  • Create interactive dashboards to visualize data and facilitate self-service analytics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, statistics, computer science).
  • 3+ years of experience in an analytics role performing quantitative analysis.
  • Expertise in SQL and ability to extract data from large data sources.
  • Experience in statistical modeling with Python or R (e.g. regression, clustering).
  • Data visualization experience (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
