Job Title:

Maintenance Planner

Job Description:

Maintenance planners are key professionals in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and machinery. Their primary role is to develop and implement maintenance plans that minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the transfer of assets into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) when necessary
  • Monitor and take action on emails received from the Group Asset Inbox
  • Arrange weekly work order servicing schedules to reduce downtime for fleet and equipment
  • Manage work orders and associated documentation related to assets within the CMMS
  • Load and maintain new assets in the CMMS, which is Pronto, and manage scheduled oil sampling within the CAT system
  • Continuously monitor schedules and plans to ensure continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements and obligations
Requirements & Skills:
  • Must be based in Perth
  • Hold a valid driver's license
  • Possess mechanical trade qualifications with experience working on mobile plant
  • Have at least 2+ years' experience in a planning role
  • Have a solid understanding of equipment and maintenance safety systems, processes, and procedures within the transport and mobile plant mining environment
  • Experience working with a computerized CMMS system, preferably Pronto
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical check, including a drug and alcohol screening
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent presentation, organization, and communication skills
  • A strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
  • Trade qualification in mobile maintenance road transport or heavy plant
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with remote sites
  • Understanding of road transport and mining regulations
