Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities for mobile plant and equipment on site.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of project plans and conceptual studies
  • Plan and coordinate monthly, weekly and daily maintenance scheduling activities as it relates to mobile plant
  • Plan, coordinate and schedule personnel and resources according to maintenance reports
  • Assist in coordinating maintenance shut down activities as it relates to mobile plant and scheduling activities

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a similar role within open pit hard rock mining, extensive practical knowledge and experience in JDE, detailed knowledge of maintenance on large mining mobile plant, proven experience with implementation of business and continuous improvement projects, and demonstrated experience with scheduling for servicing and preventative maintenance, repair estimate, forecasting and budgeting of recurring repairs, inspection of repairs and maintaining safety standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role within open pit hard rock mining
  • Extensive practical knowledge and experience in JDE
  • Detailed knowledge of maintenance on large mining mobile plant
  • Proven experience with implementation of business and continuous improvement projects
  • Demonstrated experience with scheduling for servicing and preventative maintenance, repair estimate, forecasting and budgeting of recurring repairs, inspection of repairs and maintaining safety standards
