Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team as an Advanced Technical Support Specialist. This challenging role requires exceptional technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.

The successful candidate will provide advanced support across hardware, software, networking, POS systems, Wi-Fi, and Microsoft 365 platforms. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting complex technical challenges, maintaining servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and business-critical applications.

In addition, they will look after our infrastructure by supporting firewalls, switches, wireless networks, WANs, VPNs, and phone systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and backup/recovery systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support across various platforms.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Maintain servers, Active Directory, and other critical applications.
  • Support infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and wireless networks.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • IT or Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of IT support experience, system administration, and infrastructure management.
  • Solid technical knowledge across Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V), and backup/recovery systems.
  • Experience with firewalls, WANs, VPNs, IT Ticketing, and phone systems.
