Independent Occupational Therapist

This is a rare opportunity to work as an independent occupational therapist contractor with a leading provider of support services. The role involves working closely with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants in the Hornsby, Dural, and Kellyville areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functions.
- Develop tailored treatment goals based on assessment findings.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote independence and overcome functional limitations.
- Support and advise on environmental adaptations in settings such as home, school, work, and residential facilities.
- Recommend assistive technology to enhance participants' quality of life.
- Current registration with the relevant professional body.
- Experience working with NDIS participants or similar vulnerable populations.
- Relevant insurances including public liability, professional indemnity, and comprehensive car insurance.
- Police clearance, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Active registration with the necessary regulatory bodies.
