Asset Compliance Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our asset compliance, audit readiness, and risk management initiatives across multiple heritage and hospitality assets.
Main Responsibilities- Manage fire safety and essential services compliance, including Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) preparation and submission.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing non-conformances and driving continuous improvement.
- Oversee building compliance programs using the MyBuildings compliance platform.
- Audit and enhance preventative maintenance programs across critical building services.
- Support Capex planning, feasibility assessments, and lifecycle strategies for major plant and equipment.
- Mentor and support Maintenance Managers and Chief Engineers in compliance execution.
- Maintain and build a network of consultants and specialist contractors.
- Contribute to EVT's sustainability and WHS initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications in engineering or facilities management, proven experience in managing building compliance, statutory services, and risk mitigation, strong knowledge of Australian Building Codes, Fire Safety Regulations, and AFSS compliance, and experience working across multi-site hospitality, entertainment, or commercial asset portfolios.
