About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director/Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at the Illinois CPA Society. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading individual assignments on financial instruments and frameworks, building subject matter expertise to support financial analysis, and conducting research and analysis on financial themes.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis: Lead individual assignments on financial instruments and frameworks, and build subject matter expertise to support financial analysis.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on financial themes, and publish research commentaries that are widely read by the investment community.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies, and contribute to the development of our analytical approaches.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a Master's degree or CFA Charterholder preferred.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in financial analysis, with a few years of experience in a senior financial analyst role.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with experience working with financial data and software, such as Excel and financial modeling tools.
