Individual Support Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Individual Support Trainee.

During the Traineeship, you will work full-time 38 hours per week while studying a Certificate III in Individual Support. You will be placed with one of our Host Employers and play a crucial role in assisting individuals with their daily living activities, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

  • Assist individuals with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support individuals in maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Foster a positive and empowering atmosphere that promotes independence and dignity.
  • Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients.
  • Help individuals with meal preparation and nutritional support.
  • Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or mental conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to client care.

Essential Requirements

  • Driver's license and reliable transport.
  • Ability to provide a National Police Check prior to being offered an interview.
  • Able to obtain a Blue/Yellow Card.
  • Applicants must be able to provide documentation of vaccinations, including those related to Flu/Covid-19 if required.
