Overview of the Role:

WA Support Services Division is committed to providing exceptional care and assistance to the community, guided by our core principles of compassion, integrity, reliability, and empowerment. In this newly established role, the Asset Management and Reporting Specialist will be instrumental in maintaining these values through proficient asset oversight and contract management. This vital position will facilitate the administration and operation of our property assets, encompassing report generation, contractor oversight, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Asset Management: Supervise and ensure the precision and compliance of asset management processes.
  • Contract Oversight: Manage contract negotiations, execution, and evaluations to align with organizational standards.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Partner with various teams to synchronize asset management with organizational goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure effective administration and reporting.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the residential rental portfolio, including maintenance requests and scheduled upkeep activities.
  • Reporting Duties: Generate and maintain comprehensive reports on repairs, maintenance, capital expenditures, budgeting, and asset management.
  • Training and Development: Complete required training and participate in annual performance evaluations.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience in asset management and contract oversight.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in contractor procurement and management across a varied portfolio.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities effectively, and adhere to procedures with strong ethical values.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the capacity to effectively supervise the Property Services Administrator.
  • Dedication to supporting strategic initiatives and aligning asset management with organizational objectives.

Desirable:

  • A qualification in business or business administration is preferred.
  • Experience in an Aged Care or Health Care setting.
  • Experience in a values-driven organization and facilitating change management.
