Data Analyst - SEO Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to own the data component of our Digital PR campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all data-related aspects of assigned Digital PR Campaigns
  • Develop scripts to extract data from websites, APIs and structured sources
  • Evaluate data for quality, feasibility and campaign relevance
  • Compose clear, accurate methodologies that explain data sources and logic
  • Collaborate with Digital PR Leads during ideation and campaign planning
  • Contribute to ideation by advising on viable data or angles
  • Identify trends, outliers, and story potential in datasets
  • Occasionally collaborate with journalists to simplify complex data
The Ideal Candidate:
  • 1-2 years in a data analysis role (agency or freelance experience preferred)
  • Proficient in web scraping (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Selenium, pandas)
  • Strong skills in Google Sheets and Excel (e.g., cleaning, analysis, pivoting, formulas, formatting)
  • Sound understanding of SEO and Digital PR basics
  • Able to assess data feasibility early and communicate limitations clearly
  • Excellent written communication, especially in methodology writing
  • High attention to detail and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple projects
  • Curious, proactive, and always up for a challenge
