Project Description

A leading Financial Institution is hiring 3 Data Analysts to support a strategic Merchant Modernisation (MEMO) Program, which involves migrating the institution's merchant services to a modern acquirer stack managed by Fidelity Information Services (FIS).

This is a critical initiative with high visibility across the institution. You'll play a hands-on role in driving insights, validating migration accuracy, supporting reporting pipelines, and ensuring successful delivery of the MEMO transformation. Here are the key activities:

Support the MEMO migration stream by validating data integrity across legacy and FIS-managed systems.

Key Activities:

• Perform detailed pre- and post-migration data comparisons to ensure end-to-end accuracy of merchant records.
• Reconcile batch loads and validate merchant configuration setups within the new acquirer stack.
• Investigate anomalies in data migration outputs and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to resolve issues.

Contribute to the stability of the acquiring platform by analysing transaction behaviour and supporting exception management.

Key Activities:

• Monitor live and test transaction flows across the FIS platform, identifying errors, exceptions, and latency issues.
• Produce and maintain reports on transaction volumes, authorisation success rates, and system performance.
• Work closely with technical teams to enhance transaction visibility and ensure reporting frameworks align with operational needs.

Enable informed decision-making by delivering clear, actionable reporting on migration performance and program KPIs.

Key Activities:

• Design and build interactive dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to visualise key metrics for the MEMO program.
• Develop and present executive-level insights on merchant onboarding progress, data quality, and operational health.
• Translate complex data into clear business narratives for senior stakeholders and steering committees.

Key Skills & Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in data analysis or BI roles
• Strong SQL and data wrangling skills (must-have)
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
• Experience working on data migration, payments, or banking projects highly desirable
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working in hybrid teams and fast-paced delivery environments
