Casual IT Opportunities

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our casual Information Technology team. Our IT Division plays a critical role in the success of our university, providing essential solutions and support that enable both academic and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to students and staff, troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues efficiently.
  • Maintain software applications and systems to meet the needs of our university.
  • Support the management of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures to protect our digital assets and data.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their IT requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Participate in IT projects, contributing to the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technology initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT support, system administration, software development, cyber security, or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in relevant programming languages, software, and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach to IT service delivery.
