We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a casual academic in the field of Business and Creative Industries. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about teaching and mentoring students.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and assessment activities, engaging with students to enhance their learning experience, and contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Completion of an AQF+1 qualification in a relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current scholarship in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the tertiary level and a clear teaching philosophy that aligns with the missions and values.
  • Ability to deliver a student-centered learning experience, including using diverse teaching methods to engage students in both online and on-campus workshops.
  • Understanding of student well-being and ability to promote a positive classroom culture and create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
  • Knowledge of standard-based assessment and evaluation methods, ability to provide constructive feedback to support student learning.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Emerging academic research track record in a relevant field or professional engagement with relevant industry stakeholders.
