Senior Educator Role Summary

This role involves leading a team of educators to deliver exceptional educational programs.

Job Description

As a senior educator, you will be responsible for taking charge of your own room and working closely with the centre leadership team and educational leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve teaching practices.

You will also ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all children.

The successful candidate will have a diploma in early childhood or an approved equivalent and strong knowledge of the early years learning framework and national quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of educators to deliver high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of all children.
  • Collaborate with the centre leadership team and educational leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve teaching practices.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all children.
What You'll Need
  • Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current Queensland Working with Children Check
