Key Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking an experienced SEN classroom teacher to develop and deliver high-quality lessons within the national curriculum, tailored to meet the unique Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs of our pupils.
  • You will collaborate with the class team to facilitate learning opportunities and promote positive behaviors among our students.
  • Effective monitoring and reporting on pupil progress are essential, requiring close liaison with staff to ensure their SEMH needs are met.
  • Supervising pupils during non-classroom time, including extra-curricular activities and school trips, is also a key aspect of this role.
  • Fostering positive relationships with your pupils drives interaction and positive learning outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A strong basic education to degree level is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have previous successful teaching experience.
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Behavior management and techniques are essential skills for this position.
  • A commitment to professional development and willingness to learn are crucial.
  • A DBS check is mandatory prior to commencing work.
