Empowering Educational Leaders: A Key Role in Our School Community

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team and contribute to the growth and development of our students.

About the Position

The Head Teacher will be responsible for leading the school to consistently meet the requirements of the Independent School Standards and the Education Inspection Framework. This will involve developing and implementing a vision that aligns with our ethos of compassion, inclusion, and personalized learning.

  • Lead the school to achieve excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment, ensuring that all students receive high-quality education.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategies to ensure the well-being and safety of all students, staff, and visitors.
  • Maintain positive relationships with parents, carers, and external partners to create a supportive and inclusive community.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive plan to improve student outcomes, including academic achievement and social development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external partners to provide targeted interventions and support for students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Establish effective systems for monitoring and evaluating student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Sustain a culture of continuous professional growth and development among staff, promoting a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Foster strong relationships with local communities, businesses, and other stakeholders to promote the school's values and mission.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with Primary/Secondary teaching experience.
  • Proven leadership skills, including the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of SEN and a commitment to providing inclusive education that meets the needs of all learners.
