Delivering successful programs in a complex defence environment requires meticulous coordination and effective governance. As a Program Governance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Multi Class Sustainment (MCS) Reporting Team to ensure the timely delivery of ASC's MCS Programs.
The position is responsible for designing and embedding governance frameworks that promote consistent and efficient program delivery, informed decision-making, and transparent performance reporting.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and embedding governance frameworks across MCS programs
- Delivering accurate and timely performance reporting and dashboards
- Driving process standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Facilitating governance committees and managing decision/action registers
- Engaging stakeholders through targeted communication and collaboration
- Maintaining governance calendars and documentation
- Supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights
A key aspect of this role is the ability to lead without micromanaging and act autonomously, ensuring effective collaboration across all areas of the Multi Class Sustainment business unit.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven leadership and governance experience
- Strong understanding of program delivery methodologies
- Excellent administrative and reporting skills
- Ability to lead without micromanaging and act autonomously
- Experience managing teams and acting in higher duties
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
