Community Physiotherapist Role

As a passionate and dedicated physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in improving the health and wellbeing of people in your local community.

At our healthcare organization, we strive to make a real impact by championing greater access, choice, and control for individuals when it comes to managing their health.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and work with a diverse range of clients in their homes and occasionally in residential aged care settings.

You will be responsible for helping clients achieve their health and wellbeing goals through various services, including private services, rehab in the home, hospital in the home, home care packages, and residential aged care.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an AHPRA-registered physiotherapist with at least 1 year's experience in community or rehab settings. You must also be confident working independently and managing your own schedule, as well as being passionate about person-centred care and improving lives through movement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to clients in their homes and in residential aged care settings
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote healthy lifestyle choices and prevent future health issues

Requirements:

  • AHPRA registration as a physiotherapist
  • At least 1 year's experience in community or rehab settings
  • Confident working independently and managing own schedule
  • Passionate about person-centred care and improving lives through movement
