Installation Fitter Job Description
">Our Installation and Projects team delivers full turnkey solutions to clients, including design, construction, and commissioning of new sites, as well as upgrading and decommissioning existing sites. We aim to ensure our products are top-notch and operate at the highest safety and efficiency standards for our customers and end-users.
">We have multiple permanent full-time opportunities for skilled Installation Fitters to join our team immediately. The role involves working on-site, where no two days are the same, on day-based projects or short-term projects up to 4 weeks. You should have a background in construction, mechanical installation, civil works, or commissioning works.
">Project Responsibilities Include:
">- Carrying out installation works on new and existing customer sites.
- Repair and maintenance of existing underground and above-ground systems.
- Completing safety documents in line with company standards and customer expectations.
- Promoting good customer relations through prompt and courteous attention.
As an ideal candidate, you're mechanically focused, enjoy hands-on work in changing environments using various equipment and tools. You possess industry certifications such as WPCG, White Card, Confined Space Entries, Hot Work and Gas Testing, First Aid, and MR – Medium Rigid Vehicle License, among others. You may be eligible to gain some of these certifications during your tenure.
">Required skills include a technical background in areas like Underground Tank Installation, Universal Petro Pipe (UPP), Submersible Turbine Pump (STP) Installation certification, Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG) Installation certification, Health & Safety Induction, Asbestos Handling, and Working at Heights.
