About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. This is a great opportunity to work with a global team of experts, leveraging your skills across technical work, project management and client relationships.

  • Structural design of buildings, along with inspections, assessments and reporting.
  • Working collaboratively with architects, project managers and civil engineers in multidisciplinary teams delivering iconic projects.
  • Project management and leading teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Working as part of a team on projects from conception, through to final design and construction surveillance.

Ongoing Career Development Opportunities

You will bring to the role:

  • A relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
  • A minimum of 8-12 years' industry experience as a Structural Engineer, with specific depth of experience in building design projects in a consulting environment.
  • Experience utilising a broad range of skills across various types of buildings and materials.
  • Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration is desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards.
  • Ability and willingness to mentor junior engineers.
