The role of a Water Park Safety Specialist is to maintain the safe and efficient operation of our water park attractions and slides while providing outstanding service to our guests. To ensure your success, we'll provide you with accredited training to obtain your International Lifeguard Qualification.
As a Water Park Safety Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a safe environment for our guests
- Applying First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation skills, certification required prior to start date
- Performing tasks in accordance with standard policies and procedures
- Providing exceptional Guest Service
We're looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work effectively under pressure in high-peak periods and varying workloads, as part of a cohesive team. You'll need to demonstrate a proven ability to swim 200 meters continuously and perform a 2-minute tread without using your hands. A high level of physical fitness and ability to perform manual duties are essential. Flexibility is crucial, as shifts will be scheduled on weekends and during peak school and public holiday periods. A positive attitude is a must.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to create happy memories that last a lifetime at Dreamworld and WhiteWater World, Australia's favourite theme park, with rides, slides, and wildlife all in one place on the Gold Coast.
We estimate the annual salary for this role to be around AU$45,000 - AU$65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
