Job Title: Explosive Ordnance Radiography Specialist

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your radiography skills on unique and important projects. As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for conducting and leading radiographic inspections on explosive ordnance items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out and lead radiographic inspections on explosive ordnance items.
  • Interpret x-ray images and assess defects.
  • Create inspection processes and documentation.
  • Set up and maintain safe working boundaries.
  • Support trials and experiments with radiographic data.
  • Manage radiographic equipment and facilities.
  • Occasionally work at other sites as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience using x-ray equipment for radiographic testing (especially with castings).
  • A strong understanding of radiation safety and workplace safety standards.
  • Hands-on experience with digital radiography.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
  • Able to prepare and follow safety procedures and instructions.
