We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to perform radiographic inspections on explosive ordnance items and provide radiographic data in support of trials and experiments.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct radiographic examinations using x-ray equipment, with a focus on castings.
- Interpret x-ray images to identify defects and assess their significance.
- Develop and implement inspection procedures and documentation.
- Maintain safe working environments and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
- Support research and development projects by providing high-quality radiographic data.
- Proven experience in operating x-ray equipment for radiographic testing, particularly with castings.
- A strong understanding of radiation safety principles and workplace safety standards.
- Hands-on expertise with digital radiography systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to prepare and follow detailed safety instructions and procedures.
