Claims Management Executive

The Team Lead ensures the Claims Department delivers required performance by providing leadership, development and coaching of Team, implementing process improvements and embedding a high-performance mindset, culture and framework to achieve service levels and improvements against set targets whilst mitigating losses.
Key Responsibilities:- Effective management and overall performance of allocated claims teams, including recruitment process of new vacancies.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal guidelines.
- Achieving annual Financial, Customer, Operational, and Quality Assurance, Risk and Technical Targets.
- Minimising claims loss costs and identifying improvement opportunities in claims management.
- Establishing performance objectives, coaching performance, providing training and evaluating the performance of all direct reports.
Results orientated with a proven track record of meeting KPIs. Demonstrated experience in complex claims and problem solving with the ability to use initiative to help achieve team objectives.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to influence senior management. Ability to lead well under pressure and manage various tasks concurrently.
Minimum 3 years' experience leading a large team. Knowledge and understanding of insurance policies and insurance law.
Resilience, ability to problem solve and manage stakeholder expectations. Extremely strong written and oral communication skills, adaptable to working with a variety of people and stakeholders.
