About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant/Manager to join our team at Iris Software, specializing in Electricity Market Modelling. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive market modelling projects to support our clients' decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address complex energy market challenges.
  • Design and implement advanced data analysis and modelling techniques to inform business strategies.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on market trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends in electricity market modelling.
Requirements
  • Tertiary education in a relevant field such as engineering, mathematics, economics, physics, or computer science.
  • Proven experience in electricity market modelling, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and trends.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Excel, Python, SQL, and Matlab.
