About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Australian Regional & Remote Community Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical care to our residents while also providing leadership, supervision, and support to less experienced workers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality clinical care to residents in accordance with the ARRCS mission and values.
  • Lead and supervise a team of less experienced workers to achieve people-focused quality care.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.
  • A minimum of 6 months experience working as a Registered Nurse (in addition to graduate placements).
  • Knowledge of contemporary nursing practices.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural care team.
  • Experienced in effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills.
