We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our healthcare team at Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

• Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to assist with the provision of professional patient care.
• Maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the healthcare team.
• Implement appropriate nursing care and assist with general and specialized procedures from nursing care plans.
• Plan and prioritize your own work program to achieve defined outcomes and exercise judgment when required to solve problems arising in your work area.
• Provide verbal and documented information within your scope of practice to patients, other healthcare team members, and members of the public.
• Contribute to your professional expertise by maintaining ongoing personal professional development and continuing education through a portfolio of post-enrolment learning.
• Work with diverse patient populations, including the aged, children, youth, women, and their families, with multiple complexities and diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Recognize and respond to clinical deterioration or other incidents and escalate appropriately.
• Provide evidence-based care, developing clinical skills while keeping up to date with professional standards of practice and quality management initiatives consistent with organizational policies.

• Be enrolled as an Enrolled Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practicing certificate.
• Be a team player able to work cohesively within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Have experience in the provision of nursing and/or midwifery care in the healthcare setting, in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
• Have the ability to engage with a broad range of people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures, reflecting your high-level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Able to maintain confidentiality at all times and have sound knowledge and understanding of the role of the Enrolled Nurse within the healthcare setting.
