Compas Pty Ltd is a Canberra-based, wholly Australian-owned, medium-sized Information Technology Services Company since 1987. We specialize in the provision of permanent, contract, and temporary recruitment services.
Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruitment Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will support the recruitment team with administrative tasks, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about contributing to a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the coordination of recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and maintaining accurate records.
- Support the preparation and posting of job advertisements on various platforms.
- Manage candidate applications and maintain the recruitment database.
- Coordinate background checks and reference verifications.
- Provide administrative support to the recruitment team, including preparing reports and documentation.
- Assist in onboarding new hires by coordinating orientation schedules and preparing necessary paperwork.
- Respond to inquiries from candidates and employees regarding recruitment processes and timelines.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and candidate experience.
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
