About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end audit processes, reporting on and reviewing audit findings, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders. You will also be responsible for monitoring, assessing, and recommending improvements for risks and controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead audit processes and ensure timely completion of audit reports
  • Review and report on audit findings, including recommendations for improvement
  • Presentation of audit findings to various stakeholders, including senior management and the Board
  • Monitor and assess risks and controls, and recommend improvements as necessary
  • Conduct compliance audits, including APRA standards, and IT audits, including ITGC and Application reviews
Requirements
  • Qualified or part-qualified CA/ACCA/CPA/CIA or CISA, or degree with at least 2.5 years' Internal Auditor Risk Assurance experience in the Financial Services sector
  • Big 4 Chartered training beneficial, but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full Australian work rights required
