Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Case Management
Manage client caseloads, ensuring timely and effective support to achieve return-to-work goals.
- Return to Work Strategies
Apply your clinical expertise to develop and implement effective return-to-work strategies, collaborating with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals.
- Injury Prevention and Education
Design and deliver injury prevention and workplace education programs, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
- Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with clients, employers, medical professionals, and allied health experts to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal outcomes.
- Assessments and Evaluations
Conduct comprehensive assessments, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments, to inform return-to-work strategies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling or a related field.
- Full membership with ASORC.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and health promotion.
- A current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel.
