Job Title: Service Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Director to lead our KU Faulconbridge Children's Centre team. As a Service Director, you will be responsible for providing exceptional leadership and guidance to our educators, ensuring the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care services.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position working 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday. You will receive a generous director's allowance and accrue a monthly rostered day off in addition to usual annual leave entitlements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care services
  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of children and families
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and KU policies and procedures
  • Build and maintain relationships with children, families, and the broader community
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the service's strategic plan
Requirements
  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
  • Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
