Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Anaesthetic Technician to join our team. As an integral member of the Perioperative department, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe surgical outcomes.

  • As an Anaesthetic Technician, you will provide technical and clinical support to the Anaesthetist during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anaesthesia.
  • You will respond to unexpected outcomes and utilise problem-solving skills to address emergencies in the Perioperative department.
  • Compliance with legislative requirements is essential, including occupational safety and health acts and workers' compensation.

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and clinical support to the Anaesthetist during procedures.
  • Respond to emergencies and use problem-solving skills to resolve issues in the Perioperative department.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative requirements, including occupational safety and health acts and workers' compensation.
">Requirements:

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology (or similar) qualification as an Anaesthetic Technician.
  • At least 2 years of experience working as an Anaesthetic Technician in a hospital setting.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
