Youth Mental Health Specialist

The Youth Mental Health Initiative is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team.
As a key member of our team, you will provide trauma-informed, culturally safe, and intensive therapeutic interventions to young people experiencing complex mental health concerns.
You will lead the delivery of strengths-based and recovery-oriented mental health care and treatment, working closely with local specialist Community Mental Health teams and headspace centres to enhance youth mental health pathways and services.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers are essential.
- Significant clinical experience in child and youth mental health is highly desirable, as is extensive postgraduate clinical experience and knowledge in providing evidence-based mental health assessment and treatment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, including registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Significant clinical experience in child and youth mental health, preferably with a focus on trauma-informed care.
- Extensive postgraduate clinical experience and knowledge in providing evidence-based mental health assessment and treatment.
