Business Architect Role

The ideal candidate for this Business Architect role will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that the implementation of solutions aligns with business objectives.

This position involves translating business needs into clear functional requirements and overseeing the architecture and design of insurance platforms using various technologies.

Skillset includes:

  • At least 8 years experience in insurance domain processes, with at least 5 years experience in similar technology implementations.
  • Hands-on experience in Policy, Billing, Claims, and/or Insights modules is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Business Architect or similar role within technology and business domains is required.
  • Strong knowledge of platform capabilities, including Author, Rating, Forms, and other features.
  • Familiarity with integration technologies such as APIs, web services, and middleware solutions is essential.
  • Proficiency in data modelling, workflow design, and business process analysis is required.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills are necessary.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities are also required.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Strategic Planning and Solution Design: Collaborate with business leaders to define scope, goals, and deliverables of technology implementations.
  2. Requirements Analysis: Elicit and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and process analysis.
  3. Implementation and Governance: Guide and oversee the design, development, and configuration of technology components.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as primary point of contact between business teams and IT/technical teams.
  5. Testing and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define test strategies.
  6. Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training sessions on technology functionalities.
