About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned safety professional to join IEPro Recruitment's client, a leading civil contractor, as a HSE Advisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing the safety culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk-based safety strategies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide regular safety advice and direction to site staff, subcontractors, and clients.
- Manage the safety system and associated reporting, including the design and implementation of risk-based strategies.
- Contribute to the development of a positive safety culture through effective communication and leadership.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) or a related field.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in civil construction, with a minimum of 5 years in a safety professional role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and promote a safe workplace culture.
