The Role

We are currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Construction & Infrastructure team in our Sydney office. In this role, you will work closely with our industry-leading Partner to provide expert advice on construction law matters, including front-end drafting and negotiation of construction procurement documents and building contracts.

Your Skills and Experience

  • At least 5-7+ years' experience in a well-regarded law firm, with a strong background in construction law or litigation
  • Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
  • Practical and client-focused problem-solving and research skills
  • Sound technical legal ability and a genuine interest in working in the construction and infrastructure sector
  • A professional, commercially astute and proactive approach to matter management
  • Ability to manage client expectations and run matters autonomously
  • Conscientious and client-focused, with strong interpersonal skills
