Support Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking experienced and compassionate support workers to join our team in providing high-quality care and support services to individuals with disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) and be able to work independently and as part of a team. They must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate empathy and understanding towards clients.

  • Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming;
  • Assisting with medication administration;
  • Preparing meals and snacks;
  • Transporting clients to appointments and activities;
  • Purchasing essential items for clients;
  • Offering social support and companionship;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns to the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Australian Residency status or valid Australian working rights;
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or currently working towards one;
  • A current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration;
  • A Schedule 1 or Probity type National Police Check (no older than 12 months and not an annulled record);
  • Provide an International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of 16.
