This is a unique opportunity to support individuals with cognitive disabilities within the criminal justice system, while contributing to safer communities and better long-term outcomes.About the Role:Provide specialist assessment and intervention for individuals in the criminal justice system, including in-reach services to courts and custodial settings.Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to care planning and continuity of service.Provide consultation and advice to those within the team and to service providers across health, justice, and community sectors.Support the team by providing information on the NDIS and helping navigate access pathways.Contribute to education, service development, and quality improvement initiatives within the CFMHS.About You:Experienced in assessment, care coordination, and intervention for individuals with intellectual/learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injuries and comorbidities, ideally within forensic or mental health contexts.Skilled in working across multiple service systems (health, justice, and community).
An excellent communicator with the ability to adapt style for different audiences, backed by strong report-writing and documentation skills.Committed to trauma-informed, person-centred, and culturally responsive practice.Tertiary qualified in an Allied Health discipline (experience in disability service, forensic setting, or mental health will be highly regarded).
