About the Role

CSL Behring is seeking a skilled professional to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing trades personnel, ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance work is performed, and utilizing computerized maintenance management systems.

  • The selected individual will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and managing trades personnel, including plumbers, painters, and specialized flooring contractors.

  • They will ensure that buildings and grounds preventive and corrective maintenance work is performed in a timely and efficient manner.

  • A critical aspect of this role is maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within the computerized maintenance management system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Instructing contractors to complete PM scheduled work, corrective maintenance work, and attending to urgent maintenance requirements.

  • Maintaining safety standards according to EHS guidelines and monitoring the quality of completed work.

  • Verifying and approving contractor invoices for services rendered.

  • Providing technical advice on cleaning, buildings, and grounds to maintenance engineering staff and contractors.

Requirements

  • Tertiary degree in Engineering or equivalent trade background with sub-professional qualifications.

  • Experience in Facilities Maintenance or maintenance of buildings and grounds.

  • Familiarity with quality and hygiene requirements applicable to the pharmaceutical industry as reflected in cGMP regulations.

  • Solid understanding of site facility maintenance and service contract management principles.

  • Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems.
