**IT Support Specialist Role:**

We are seeking an IT support specialist to join our team at a leading organization.

**Key Responsibilities:)

  • Take ownership of all assigned incidents, requests and tasks logged with the IT service center.
  • Receive, record and track incidents throughout their lifecycle, up to incident closure and verification (ITIL).
  • Provide regular and accurate updates to the customer during the lifecycle of the ticket.
  • Perform desktop support activities in supported locations both in person and via remote management toolsets.
  • Perform user and system administration activities of MS Exchange, MS Active Directory, MS SharePoint environments, Cisco & IP Telephony, MS Teams and other VC products, and backup and restore services.
  • Provide triage, maintenance and support, third party management and escalation as required for peripheral equipment including printers, iPhones & tablets.
  • Perform IT invoice management activities, including monitoring the IT invoices mailbox and distributing appropriately.
  • Provide concierge and technical support to meeting room and video conferencing facilities.
  • Liaise with, escalate, drive and track the resolution of complex issues that are defined as level 3 incidents to other technical teams or third-party vendors as required.
  • Adhere to Service Level Agreements and keep within agreed KPI's. Perform IT asset management and procurement activities.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in IT service desk or desktop support in a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge or certifications in ITIL frameworks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Windows, MS Office 365, Apple IOS, Citrix, Google Chrome, VMware, RSA, Networking (LAN/WAN/Wireless/VPN), Telephony systems / VOIP and PC hardware and peripherals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and within a team.
