Mine Planning Specialist

The successful candidate will be an integral member of our Technical Services team, maximising the value and safe recovery of the asset to provide sustainable growth in alignment with our business strategy.
">- Mid-term planning – monthly/quarterly schedules of production and development mining activities.
- Collaboration with geological, geotechnical and operational members to develop optimised, safe and practical mine designs and sequences.
- Communicating plans and schedules through presentations, physical summaries and design shape outputs.
- Driving alignment and track compliance to plans with the short-term scheduling team.
- Assisting the long-term planning engineer with LOM planning projects and feasibility assessments.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Mine Engineering or similar discipline is essential.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in underground mining engineering is required.
- Familiarity with Deswik software package is desirable.
- You should possess strong analytical skills to challenge and analyse geological assumptions and interpretation to achieve improved outcomes.
- A high level of professionalism and commitment to safe mining operations is expected.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
