Chief Mine Planner

The Planning Engineer will be an integral member of the Technical Services team.

This role involves maximizing the value and safe recovery of assets to provide sustainable growth in alignment with the business strategy.

• Mid-term planning: Monthly/Quarterly Schedule of production and development mining activities.
• Closely collaborating with geological, geotechnical, and operational members to develop optimized mine designs and sequences.
• Communicating plans and schedules through presentations, physical summaries, and design shape outputs.
• Ensuring alignment and tracking compliance with the short-term scheduling team.
• Assisting the long-term planning engineer with LOM planning projects and feasibility assessments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing monthly and quarterly schedules for production and development mining activities.

• Working closely with geological, geotechnical, and operational teams to create optimized mine designs and sequences.
• Effectively communicating plans and schedules through various mediums.

• Ensuring alignment between mid-term and short-term scheduling teams.
• Tracking and maintaining compliance with planned activities.

• Providing support to the long-term planning engineer on LOM planning projects and feasibility assessments.
