Senior Manager Human Resources

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the coordination and implementation of HR processes, policies, and programs regarding recruitment, retention, organization development, talent development, associate engagement, immersion/on-boarding, succession planning, retention, management training, compensation & benefits, and general affairs.
  • Partner with business leaders to ensure effective and timely talent management processes, including performance and development cycles, succession planning, talent movement, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence in Employee Relations, Talent Management, Compensation, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, and DE&I to build and implement people strategies for the Operations organization.
  • Participate in and drive HR projects in both a contributor and leadership capacity, leading work on key project deliverables.
  • Manage other key functions within the Clare Site, including Reception, Cafeteria, and Occupational Health.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment law and comply with all corporate and local policies, including the ethics & compliance program.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree (Level 8) in HR or a related field and 14+ years of HR experience with a minimum of 5 years managing people (including working with global responsibilities) OR Masters Degree with 12+ years experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years leading teams.
  • Demonstrated experience running a HR organization utilizing continuous improvement best practices.
  • High level of experience in dealing with labour relations and effectively managing union negotiations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of human resources employment law, trends, and the ability to benchmark & network.
  • Highly effective communicator with the ability to influence and build trusted partnerships at all levels and a proven track record of delivering high performance through consulting & coaching, with experience working directly with senior leaders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to project manage multiple projects and initiatives through to successful delivery.
  • Experience working in Medical/Pharma industry and a large US multi-national environment.
  • Change Management experience.
