This aged care home provides compassionate, culturally respectful care for up to 43 residents. It is designed to remain connected to the local culture and meet the diverse needs of the community.

This facility has a peaceful location offering a comfortable and homely environment. It provides a range of services, including individualised care plans, experienced staff and accessible spaces that support the wellbeing of both residents and employees.

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated leader dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service and guiding a passionate team at our well-established facility.

The ideal Residential Manager will be dynamic, compassionate and energetic. They will have a proven track record in team development, managing complex operations, achieving results and business growth as well as navigating a regulated industry in reform. We welcome candidates with experience from aged care, health, disability and other human services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure care provided is customer focused, tailored to individual needs and provides moments of joy for all our customers.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents and their representatives, seeking and acting on feedback.
  • Lead, manage and develop a motivated, kind and compassionate team.
  • Consult with corporate services to formulate and monitor budgets.
  • Ensure operational costs and expenses are managed within budget.
  • Identify necessary changes and manage transitions within areas of responsibility.
  • Participate in risk assessment and hazard control activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Hold a qualification in business, leadership or clinical fields.
  • Working knowledge of industry standards.
  • Leadership and people management skills with the ability to facilitate change.
  • Experience in business plan development, implementation and evaluation.
  • Proficiency in information management systems for reporting and decision-making.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Satisfactorily pass all relevant key personnel checks.
