About the Role

MiCare is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to support our procurement practices, procedures, and policies. This is a full-time permanent position based at Carrum Downs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and improve procurement systems, processes, and procedures to drive efficiency and value-add.
  • Provide leadership and vision to drive effective procurement planning, sourcing, and contract management.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate procurement risks.
  • Manage and maintain procurement contracts and agreements.
Requirements
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in procurement and/or demonstrated knowledge and experience in procurement.
  • Victorian Driver's licence.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Ability to educate staff on procurement requirements and associated matters.
  • Well-developed oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in reviewing and improving procurement systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, time-management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other areas of the organization to achieve agreed outcomes.
  • Demonstrated commitment to EEO, WH&S, and Cultural Diversity principles.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
