The Opportunity

As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and calibrating ophthalmic diagnostic and surgical equipment across various medical facilities. You'll work closely with a dedicated team of engineers, clinicians, and support staff to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on ophthalmic devices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
  • Perform preventive maintenance checks to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Document service activities accurately and maintain service records.
  • Participate in equipment installations and upgrades.
  • Perform service for metropolitan and regional customers.

Requirements

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician with a passion for precision and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have:

Formal qualifications in an IT/Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical field.Experience servicing ophthalmic or other precision medical equipment, but not essential.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Good mechanical aptitude and understanding of schematics.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
