Pharmacy Supply Chain Coordinator

The Pharmacy Ward Distribution Coordinator is responsible for the efficient distribution of pharmaceutical products to hospital wards and departments. This involves ensuring accurate placement of goods received, monitoring expiry dates and stock levels, and maintaining clean and orderly pharmaceutical storage.
- Supply Chain Management:
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of medications and medical supplies
- Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking
- Monitor temperature-controlled items and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with the Hospital pharmacy distribution manager regarding any supply chain issues
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Complete all mandatory training and credentialing required for the position
- Identify gaps in training and/or education and bring them to the attention of the Hospital Pharmacy Distribution Manager
- Attend relevant departmental meetings and contribute to discussions on process improvements
Requirements:
- Demonstrate initiative, responsibility, efficiency, co-operation, and enthusiasm in their work
- Communicate effectively and courteously with colleagues, supervisors, and external partners
- Promote teamwork by building effective workplace relationships
- Work closely with the distribution manager to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with specific instructions or regulations
