Healthcare Professionals Sought for Military Medical Evaluations
The United States Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) requires skilled medical professionals to ensure the medical readiness of applicants joining the U.S. Armed Forces. This vital role involves conducting medical evaluations, reviewing applicant histories, and analyzing test results to uphold medical standards established by Congress and the Military Services.
Responsibilities include guiding applicants through aptitude testing, security screenings, administrative processing, and their transition into service. This position plays a direct role in ensuring the next generation of service members is medically ready.
- Conduct critical medical reviews, including applicant histories, medical evaluations, and analysis of test results.
- Support the enlistment process by providing expert guidance to applicants.
Requirements:
- Two years' experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine within the last three years.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Active Nurse Practitioner State license.
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited academic program.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a recognized national nursing certification organization.
